Emergency Prescription Fund

Through grants and contributions, WDMS is able to provide patients of WDMS physician members, who are uninsured or have no prescription coverage access to our Rx Fund.  The physician should direct the patient to fill their prescription at Walgreens Drugstore, 320 Park Avenue, Worcester.  Telephone 508-767-1732. The pharmacist will call WDMS for approval. Please note "WDMS RX FUND" on the back of the prescription.

Guidelines

Only patients who are uninsured can access the WDMS RX Fund.
The RX Fund will cover up to one months medication (up to $75 per prescription).
Refills are generally not allowed  (exceptions can be made based on patient's circumstances if the physician contacts WDMS at 508-753-1579).
The RX Fund does not cover any federally controlled substances.
The RX Fund does not cover any antidepressants.
