End of Life Care

WDMS is working with the "Central Massachusetts Partnership to Improve End of Life Care" to make Central Massachusetts a national model for community action to improve end of life care.

A planning committee has been developed that includes community leaders representing healthcare, faith groups, the legal profession, social service agencies and the community in general.   The committee is working on a long range vision that "all persons in Central Massachusetts live their last days as comfortably as possible, in the setting of their choice, according to their expressed wishes".
