Community Services
The Worcester District Medical Society has a very longstanding commitment to supporting the Worcester community in a variety of ways. Examples include the Community Immunity Program, support of the Worcester Free Clinics, awarding medical student scholarships, physician recognition awards, participation in important and current legislative issues, our local Cable Access TV program Health Matters, our quarterly magazine Worcester Medicine, the Barbershop Health Network Program, ongoing medical education lectures and more. WDMS has a strong commitment to preserving the history of medicine for future generations through its collections and unique Spoken History project.
